Middlesbrough Sign Off With Victory
Middlesbrough concluded a strong end to the EFL Championship season with victory against Watford helping to secure a top eight finish.
Middlesbrough FC was founded in 1876 by members of the local cricket club and having turned professional, joined the English Football League.
The club secured its only major trophy in 2004 when early goals from Joseph-Desire Job and Bolo Zenden helped the team to defeat Bolton 2-1 to secure the League Cup, leading to wild celebrations on the streets when the trophy was paraded in front of fans. Two years, the team made it all the way to the final of the UEFA Cup before being defeated by Sevilla.
Currently competing in the second tier of the professional game, the Boro remain a focal point for the local community, with fans packing the Riverside for each home game.

The club also runs the MFC Foundation, which was formed in 1995 and works extensively across Teesside to benefit local communities through a wide range of programmes focused on sport, education and health.
With a number of dealerships across the North East, these are the local communities we are proud to support ourselves.
