Range
With a range of up to 82 miles, the ABT e-Transporter 6.1 is perfectly suited to many different business types, including local couriers, delivery drivers, and local businesses.
With the average commute being around 30 miles and rapid public chargers readily available nationwide, the e-Transporter won’t hold you back.
Despite being much more efficient, the ABT e-Transporter 6.1’s electric drivetrain doesn’t compromise on power either. The standard 83kW electric motor packs 200 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 17.4 seconds.

Charging
The new Volkswagen ABT e-Transporter 6.1’s Combined Charging System (CCS) socket provides a flexible charging solution, combining the ability to charge via both AC and DC.
This means you can easily charge your van at home or on the go.
If you’re out and about and need charge, there is an ever-expanding network of public charging points across the country. When using a rapid charger, the kind found at most public hotspots, you can bring the ABT e-Transporter 6.1 from 0-80% charge in as little as 45 minutes.
You can also charge at home via a domestic 3-pin socket or a wallbox, reaching a completely full battery overnight. A Type 2 charging cable is included with the vehicle as standard.
Space
For your business, pack more in with the new ABT e-Transporter 6.1. A 6.7m3 load volume and a payload of up to 996kg makes it easier to keep up with the demands of your working day.
The new Volkswagen ABT e-Transporter 6.1 also features several storage options to create an organised and uncluttered cab. From a folding ruler tray, an upper glovebox and two cup holders, to a lockable lower glovebox (cooled by Climatronic controls), you’ll find all the space you need.
In addition, the ABT e-Transporter 6.1 has the perfect rear door solution - no matter what the job is. Every van is available with a choice of either a large tailgate or versatile rear wing doors.
Both are available glazed or in solid metal for added security.
Interior
Putting you first, the ABT e-Transporter 6.1 has LED lighting throughout the interior, including in the cargo area as standard.
As standard also, the e-Transporter houses a Composition Colour DAB+ radio system with 6.5-inch touch-screen. This makes it easy to access the van’s advanced infotainment features and keep connected on-the-go.
With the ABT e-Transporter 6.1, you’ll also enjoy a four-speaker stereo, a couple of USB ports and comfortable three-abreast seating up front. If desired, you can choose yours with a second row of seating to host extra passengers.
Safety
The new ABT e-Transporter 6.1 comes with the latest range of Volkswagen’s innovative Driver Assistance systems, making it safe and easy to drive.
From Front Assist with City Emergency Braking to Crosswind Assist, it’s a van that looks out for you when you’re on the job.
As the first to include Front Assist and City Emergency Braking as standard across their entire van range, Volkswagen’s upgraded Front Assist detects when the vehicle ahead is getting too close, as well as both pedestrians and cyclists. If detected, it will prepare the ABT e-Transporter 6.1’s brakes if needed.
If the risk gets dangerous, the system will partially apply the brakes to give you a helping hand.
Upgrade
Available in two trims, the ABT Transporter 6.1 and the ABT Transporter 6.1 Advance, you can choose your new van exactly how you like it.
Adding 17-inch alloy wheels and a heated windshield to the mix, the ABT Transporter 6.1 Advance ups your game.
Also expect electrically foldable exterior door mirrors and LED headlights (with separate LED daytime running lights) to enhance your day-to-day commute.
