----------

As part of our plan to support the UK response to the Coronavirus outbreak, I would like to update you on what we are doing as a Group to ensure the well-being of customers and colleagues as best we can.

Our dealerships are open and for now, its business as usual.  We are following the robust hygiene measures advised by the government and Public Health England, whilst being mindful to maintain some semblance of normality across the Group’s dealerships and offices

Our customers will notice a changed dealership experience; a warm welcome is guaranteed even without a hand-shake.  We are increasing our use of video communication with customers and thoroughly cleaning the control surfaces of cars before and after handover.  We are working to be as flexible and innovative as possible over the coming weeks and months, in order to provide our customers with the best possible service.

Our online services already offer customers the ability to buy cars online and have them delivered to homes and workplaces, alongside being able to book servicing, MOTs and repairs in local dealerships. Clearly, government guidelines may change so that physical visits and home delivery may not be possible. At present they are.

Rest assured the senior team of our group, are working hard to provide leadership and guidance to the business.  The challenge in these uncertain times is to look after our colleagues and customers, act quickly to reinforce government and Public Health England advice and do our bit to keep Britain moving.
