Full marks to all the team involved in the recent service of my Passat Estate. I called into the dealership to enquire about servicing a couple of weeks before and was seen by the Service Manager. He was fantastic; friendly, courteous and very professional, I was very impressed with the exceptionally high levels of customer service. I must have appeared anxious and explained that I just wanted someone to look at my car before everyone went home at 5pm. He asked about the problem and when I explained, he reassured me he would look at my car immediately. He managed to get into the boot and although the cause of my difficulty isn't entirely clear, he explained how, should the problem arise again, I could get round it by releasing the manual catch from inside the car after folding down the rear seats. I don't know the technician's name but I'm sure you could track this down. I just want to say that his attitude to me was exemplary throughout and a great advert for VW's customer service. It is this sort of attitude that encourages loyalty from customers and I hope you will pass on my appreciation to the technician concerned as well as to those who dealt with me when I phoned in an agitated state.
